From Roanoke and points from Interstate 81:

Take the Salem/New Castle exit (#141) just south of Roanoke. Turn left at end of exit and travel for 0.25 miles. Turn right onto Route 311. Continue traveling on Route 311 for 25.1 miles. You will completely pass through the town of New Castle. Turn left onto Route 658. Travel down Route 658 for approximately 7 miles. The road will fork twice. Stay to the right both times. The entrance to Craig Spring will be on the right 0.2 miles after the road forks for the second time.

From Blacksburg and points from Route 460:

Travel to the Newport exit approximately 12 miles past the Prices Fork Road exit to Blacksburg, and 12 miles from Pembroke coming from the West. Turn right on Route 42. Travel this road for approximately 9.4 miles. Turn left onto Rt. 658. Follow Route 658 over a mountain for approximately 4.2 miles. Turn right onto Rt. 632 for 0.8 miles. You will reach a stop sign after crossing a bridge. Turn left, continue following Route 658. Stay on Route 658 for 7 miles. You will see Craig Springs on the left. Continue 0.1 miles PAST Craig Springs and the entrance road will be on the left.
